Pokémon Legends

I got in just before a load of new legendary Pokémon are going to be revealed. I may do a sequel to this picture with the new legends in as I am looking forward to seeing them! I don't use legends on my team, but I love the way they are designed. The idea for this picture came about when I thought of perhaps drawing Lugia or Ho-oh, and then decided "hey, why not draw them all?" The result was four days' work and this picture!

I thought I'd make this picture description a bit more interesting, so here is my opinion of each legendary...

Mewtwo: I like his backstory and design, but I hated the way he was so overused in the RBY generation. If you didn't have a Mewtwo on your team you were basically screwed, and with Amnesia they were just broken!
Mew: One of my favourite Pokémon. Mew is just adorable and is easily my favourite of the "little legendaries". So cute!
Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres: Articuno is my favourite of the three, Zapdos my least favourite, although I like all three of them. Moltres was a pain to draw with all that fire, though...

Lugia: Another one of my favourites. When I saw him in the second movie I thought he was the coolest thing ever! I love his sleek, streamlined look.
Ho-oh: I like Ho-oh though not as much as Lugia. I don't think it helps that I really don't like the original Sugimori art for him. He looks much better when more brightly-coloured though.
Raikou, Entei and Suicune: Raikou's my fave though I know most people prefer one of the other two. I do like Suicune though it's difficult to draw in my opinion. I like all three of these Pokémon though, don't get me wrong!
Celebi: Celebi is cute though I don't like him as much as Mew. I haven't seen the fourth movie though so I don't really know that much about how cute he is when animated!

(Hoenn has far too many legendaries!)
Kyogre: I hate drawing this thing. I think that comes from being requested to draw it so many times! I do think it looks cool when computer-animated though, and I like its design.
Groudon: Even though I have Sapphire and not Ruby, I probably prefer Groudon to Kyogre. It looks ferocious and I think we need more Pokémon like that to get rid of the "cutesy" image it has!
Latias and Latios: These two are cute - I remember when the rumour was that one evolved into the other and even that they were an evolution of Togetic! I like them though they're not some of my faves.
The Regis: I don't know how I feel about them...they're okay, but a bit too non Pokémon-like for my tastes. I think Registeel looks cool but it just doesn't fit in my opinion.
Rayquaza: He's a bit strange-looking but I always welcome more dragon Pokémon! I hope to see more dragons like him in future generations...ones that are very sleek in appearance.
Deoxys: An original idea and I enjoy all the different forms. I don't like facing him much in battle though, especially the Fire Red version!
Jirachi: I prefer him to Celebi, and I like the idea of a wish Pokémon. His star-shape design appeals to me.

Dialga: Really like him. I like the shining markings over his body and the frills and decorations on his neck and back. The idea of a time-controlling Pokémon is awesome, too!
Palkia: I am getting Pearl (it's my birthstone) but I probably prefer Dialga to Palkia. Still, Palkia is an interesting Pokémon and I like the wing-like formations on its back.
Manafi:Another cute Pokémon, but when it was first released I thought it looked way too much like a Chao! Now I see it in its own right and it's really grown on me.

I'd like to know your opinions on legendary Pokémon. Do you use them in battle - why or why not? And what do you think of their designs?
